We're looking for driven and enthusiastic staff and cabinet members. In short, staffers help create the magazine itself whereas cabinet members promote the growth of the community and the magazine in distinct avenues. These include, for example, social media, a podcast, our mentorship program, etc. This distinction has been made in parentheses on each position title.
No experience is required but is recommended. Our publication is created entirely with the time volunteered by our team. If you have some other avenue you would like to help Tea expand in that is not listed below, please feel free to fill out the form as “other”.

Webmaster (Cabinet)
We are looking for a Webmaster to oversee our website's presence, functionality, and SEO. A Webmaster should be familiar with Squarespace, Google Analytics, and have a sense for web design and programming. Most of all, the ideal candidate is an independent learner and can learn to optimize Tea’s website without constant supervision.
All cabinet members are expected to attend and assist in Tea-related events—especially those promoting their respective projects—contribute at cabinet meetings once a month, and visit classes to promote submissions.
Art Editor (Staff)
The Art Editor would make all final decisions on what visual art is printed in the magazine, and as a result, they would be responsible for finalizing all reshoots and suggestions. In the fall, the Art Editor is expected to hold a seminar on how to analyze art for the staffers (20 minutes). As a result, they must know art culture and styles well enough to explain them. In the spring, they will sit with the other editors to finalize the order art is printed in the magazine.

Art Staffer (Staff)
Led by our Art Editor, art staffers work with SA+AH professors to solicit contributions, guide and educate the team in art and art history, and help in the selection process for our final magazine. They schedule art reshoots for the publication and create relationships with UF undergraduate artists. At our annual release party, they organize the display of published art. Proficiency in the arts is highly recommended.

Design Staffer (Staff)
Led by our Design Editor, the design staff assists in creating the layout for the final magazine, as well as in designing additional materials such as shirts, flyers, cards, etc. They must be proficient or willing to master Adobe products such as InDesign and Illustrator. Experience in Canva is also recommended.

Poetry Staffer (Staff)
Led by our Poetry Editor, poetry staffers work with creative writing and literature professors to solicit contributions. They guide the poetry selection process for our final magazine, and in the spring, they help edit student poems to the best versions they can be.
All staffers are expected to attend and assist in Tea-related events—especially tabling—contribute at staff meetings once a month, and visit classes to promote submissions.
Photography Staffer (Staff)
Led by our Photography Editor, photography staffers work with photography professors to solicit contributions, guide and educate the team in photography, and help in the selection process for our final magazine. They schedule edits for the publication and create relationships with UF undergraduate artists. At our annual release party, they organize the display of published photography. Proficiency in photography is highly recommended.

Marketing Director (Cabinet)
The Marketing Director works in conjunction with the Design Editor and their staff to create a consistent brand for Tea. This includes organizing design-staff graphics into a cohesive narrative; maintaining a calendar for post dates and deadlines; and organizing staff labor with the Design Editor. Leadership and creativity are some highly recommended skills, the ideal candidate must be a Canva master.

Prose Staffer (Staff)
Led by our Prose Editor, poetry staffers work with creative writing and literature professors to solicit contributions. They guide the fiction selection process for our final magazine, and in the spring, they help edit student prose to the best versions they can be.
