Terms and Conditions –– Tea Literary & Arts Magazine Volume 22
Tea Literary & Arts Magazine seeks to publish the best University of Florida undergraduate prose, poetry, and visual art. In submitting to Tea, you agree that you are:
1) An undergraduate student at the University of Florida.
2) The sole creator of the piece you are submitting or that all collaborators of the piece are listed and given due credit in the byline of the piece.
3) Willing to allow editors to modify the piece to correct mistakes in grammar, spelling, or usage, unless the mistake is deemed to be intentional and integral to the piece.
4) Willing to allow Tea to post your work on our website and social media for purposes promotional to the creator and magazine.
If, for any reason, any of these criteria are found to be in fault, the submission will be removed from consideration.
By submitting to Tea you are granting publication and distribution rights to the magazine. This means that the piece you are submitting has not been published elsewhere previously, but it may be published in other journals or magazines with a notice of “Originally published in Tea Literary & Arts Magazine.” Tea allows for simultaneous submissions, but the editors of Tea must be given timely notice if a piece is accepted in another publication. Remember that submission does not guarantee publication, although we do hope to include you in our magazine!
Lastly, the creator will always retain intellectual property of their work. Tea will never attempt to claim responsibility for your work; we merely seek to publish your piece in our magazine. Best of luck to you, and happy submitting!
Sincerely,
Tea Staff
